Dynamic drive
I got a couple of issues maybe you all can help.
Dynamic drive comes up after about 30 min of driving if I turn car off then back on goes away, sometimes while the warning is on there will be a ding noise and when that makes that noise the radio cuts off then back on. Also after I run the car for a little bit I start to get a rough idle the rpn's start going up and down and a couple of times when I turned car off then started back I had to hit the gas so it wouldn't cut . I had advance auto check battery and alternator and he said battery was ok a little high but that the alternator was going up and down and recommend a new alternator. I did top off the power steering fluid and that didn't help. Any sudgestions? |

I had the same problem. The alternator was fluctuating a lot. A new alternator and battery solved the problem.

+1, if you are having even a hint of electrical issues in your testing start there. It will throw codes for other systems. When my battery was going bad it was giving me Dynamic Drive errors along with others. Alternator will cause the same issues.
Internet diagnosis is limited, so we can only take stabs at it. Good luck. |

It might not hurt to get another test on the battery & alternator from 2 more places. The checks are free, so check to see what they say. Do not tell them what other people said, to see if the results are repeated.
Good Luck! |
