That's cool. There's quite a bite of people chiming in with this problem. If Gila06 has not done the blasting then that would be a good next step.

Hopefully that wasn't your first plug change at 64k.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I dropped my car off to the dealer today. The shop manager wants to drive it for a few days. I took several of your advise (driving it like i stole something and "loading") And the car actually drove alot better and it seemed to idle alittle bit smoother.
I didnt get any codes. Ill keep you posted.
Thanks again....

Update:
the dealer kept the car for a week. Drove it , ran all kind of test and pressure test, and didnt find anything wrong. I have a cpo so there is plenty of warranty left.

The funny part, before i dropped the car off, i applied the advise mentioned in this post. I drove the car hard, kept the rpms at 3-3500 for several miles to heat up the engine and drove it like i stole something. The car actually runs better and the gas milage is improving. I will make this a monthly practice.

Thanks again.

Update: Brought my 535i in last week due to intermittent engine sputtering and ended up getting a bad ignition coil replaced under CPO. They also replaced a leaking oil housing gasket and leaking mechatronic sleeve seal, also under CPO warranty. The car runs a LOT better but I still have higher than normal engine vibration at idle, particularly, the air filter housing vibrates a lot. Love the car but not all the problems with 67K miles.

Yup, I feel your frustration. I have two good friends with our cars and they dont have our problems. It has to be the plugs.
