i pod classic track selection
Hi
I connect my i pod classic 80gb via the usb link under the armrest in my 2007 e93 and i can control the volume via the radio or steering wheel but when it comes to selecting a track the info is all displayed as random files so i just cant find my fav songs. To make matters worse the ipod displays the text "do not disconnect" so i cant find the songs that way either. Will a bmw software update fix this or am i doomed to have to use the aux input instead?

Does your car have the i-Pod option (6FL)? If not, you're stuck with the aux input. If you're not sure, run your VIN here:

After using the link you supplied i can confirm i onky have the aux kit and not the i pod kit (explains it really)
Still interesting to look at the full spec of my car though Thanks
