Mein Auto: 2008 335i
Need Advice on a purchase

Hello all,

I currently drive a 2008 335i and absolutely love it but my work is taking me to Denver, Co and I need 1) AWD (obviously) and 2) a wagon (I carry stuff around for my new job)

Sooo I am I looking at a used BMW wagon. It is a
2006 530xi Sport Wagon with Cold Weather/Sport Packages.
Nav, back up sensor etc etc
89,000 miles, three owners
Clean Car Fax
Asking 15,700$

The car looks and seems in very good condition. No extended warranty or anything.
i think it is a great deal, but I would love some feed back ... pro's con's etc.

Thanks so much!!!

Are you planning on replacing or adding to the stable?

Well I will say its tough to go from the 535 to a 530 (E60). There's just a tad bit less issues with the 530i, but seeing its an xi they have their own extra maintenance. The wagon itself is very roomy. That car is approaching 100K so there's some work to be done if it wasn't already. CV boots are the extra maintenance items and auto level air bags.
Its tough because the brute force of the turbos will no longer be there.

I know I'm so bummed to lose that engine!
Thanks so much for the info, these will all be things I will incorporate into my offer for the car!
Any more info is definitely appreciated!
