BMW e30 325i convertible 3m 1080 matte dark gray/ brushed steel

have a thread started in r3vlimited.com but for bimmerfest guys heres a quick recap on the project. this is my 1991 325i vert, clean title, 160k'ish, 5spd, alpine white. gutted the car since it smelled, interior was cream, dyed seats matte imola red, carpet black, painted all vinyl parts including dash in a matte black, all is ready to go back in soon. got a new cloth top with a smoked out rear plastic window that is going in soon too. car is wrapped with 3m 1080 matte dark gray, 3m 1080 brushed steel on top, 3m 1080 matte black around windshield frame, convertible cow cover, and mirrors, and 3m double line matte black pinstripe vinyl. all chrome trimmings are wrapped with oracal 8300 dark gray transparent film to give all chrome the "black chrome" look. tinted windows, new windsheild, lights, etc... lots of cosmetic upgrades for now, and more to come in the near future!

sup sup, a few updated pics of the e30! bumpers on, moldings and window trim, new front glass, lights in, matte black windsheild frame & top cow, matte black double pinstripe, etc... still gotta long way to go!... but lookin pretty dope! next stop is to tha homies shop for some tuneup stuff, then off the upholstery shop for a new cloth top, then over to CNC for some stereo & wiring up HID stuff... hopefully CNC is where this car will be completed! Wu! Wraps

still gotta wrap my Kopi ACS rear add-on i got from abraham motorsports and install that, the modded ford taurus sideskirts are wrapped but on installed yet, but that's about it for the vinyl side of this build!

here's my 1st set of refinished style 5's:

and here's a sneak peek of set 2 of my style 5's fully polished lips with gold transparent powdercoat over it (gives it a gold chrome/18k gold look):

It look's pretty cool, you wrapped your whole car ,wow. You do realize the e30 is a 4lug and the wheels don't work though right?I like the wrap idea ,I think maybe that's what I'm going to do with my hood and mirrors.

He probably has done a 5-lug conversion or at least plans to. It's pretty common.

yes, i am runnign 4x100 to 5x120 adapters by adaptec. great product! even better that it brings me to 0/-5 offsets for a nice and flush look! the current wheels on the car are 5x120 style 5 16" from the older 7-series.

mlbryant8: typically we charge $2500-$4k'ish for a full wrap. for the e30 i think i would've charged $3k with door/trunk jams, -$500 without.
