Top Speed Limit 2013 M5

The other day I was alone on a couple mile stretch highway. So I figured I would try to hit top speed I was already cruising at 70 mph. I was able to reach 162 mph had to slow down caught up to some cars. But I thought the US cars were governed at 155mph?

The BMW odometer overstates your speed significantly.
Take your M5 somewhere safer to test limits if you want/need to.

Can't just "take off" the limiter. No possibility yet via aftermarket tune etc . Only option so far is the purchase the M Drivers Package from BMW (not available in NA)
