New 35i X3

We just got a new 2013 X3. Black Sapphire with chestnut seats and pretty much fully loaded. I'm absolutely in love with the interior colors (I'll post pictures soon!) and am still slightly confused with the iDrive. Is there a way to turn the parking sensors/object detection beeping on without being in the "parking camara" screen?

There is a one-touch button to activate it, if that's what you're asking. Near armrest near driver. I love the color combo you've chosen!

Yeah I know the button, I was wondering if the sensors could somehow sound without having to push the button every time you go to park if you're close to an object.

You mean like when you are at a red light or stop sign and pedestrians are crossing in front and in back of your car or your car is too close to the car in front of yours or the car in back is too close to yours?
