iPhone 5 connection to x3i 2006,

I just upgraded my phone system to the new AT&T iPhone 5. I have a problem with NO SOUND through the radio. everything else works. about a year ago I added an Aux input cable from BMW, just make sure that was not the problem I re-connected the old cable, this made no difference. and have reset the AUX cable .

Any suggestions appreciated!

I just got a new iPhone 5 this week and had the same problem. While sitting in traffic, I decided to connect my aux port for Pandora but no audio. WTF?

I even have one of those specially designed aux cables with the skinny connector to so that it seats in the port when using an otter box.

Anyway, after parking and having everything shutdown I tried it again. This time I connected the aux port before launching any apps and made sure the connector was seated properly, then moved the radio to AUX. It worked this time, so I'm not sure exactly what the issue was.

You might try this sequence and see if it works.

Thanks for response, - perhaps I should mention that the problem is Blue tooth related.
