Check out bavarian exclusive website. Im on my phone now. I will update for u when I have access to computer. The brightest option you can do is the halo ring ls3 upgrade. Google it. The E9x version for LS3 angel eyes are brilliant.

There are many H8 bulbs available. Unfortunately, none of the LEDs will ever be as bright as the new cars. You can get a better color and I'm good with that on my car but it is not as bright looking in the day time.

Here you are:

For the light bulb option, these are the 2 top of facelifted 6ers LED angel eyes upgrade:
http://www.bavarianx.com/MTEC_Ver_2_...mtec.21.ae.htm
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/360-Degree-...-p/sku-s15.htm

For the brighter rings, you probably have to go with custom halo rings
http://www.bavarianx.com/BMW_LS3_LED...Eyes_s/390.htm

If you check out the SoCal meet picture, you will se zerock car. He did that himself. To make the white ring brighter you should also consider the option paint your housing black, better contrast on the white light. I tried Weisslicht LED, good looking design and bright but the focus isn't really match with the 6 LED rings. As a result if you only do the bulb upgrade, in the day, the larger ring will be barely visible for all the best LED bulb. I tried one from modbargains.com before and the result was totally ... Invisible.

Higher Watt and More expensive I believe. If you look up at the description, they are all made for pre-facelifted. Hence, not really for our cars. I'm going to do the LS3 I mention above. It might be the only choice by now.

BTW, when you upgrade to the extremely high Watt LED bulb, your bigger rings somehow become brighter but your smaller rings will be brighter or same as your low beam. When I use the Weisslicht, there was a time I try driving around at night with lowbeam off and no problem with visibility. 20W is really crazily bright for the smaller rings.

Ok so why would you choose the Ls3 instead and if they not made for our car does that means I would have to cut drill or modify anything g to get any of these to work?

No cut no drill, remove headlight, heat up/bake it by hair dryer , it pop out, there u go.

LS3 is a custom work, it replaces the halo rings that my furthest knowledge. Im going to ask BavarianExclusive to do it for me. My friend has it for 2 years and it still as bright as new. And the outcome is like wow thats beautiful. It only cost ~$300 for everything on my friend E90. Its just almost double the bulb price so I think its worth doing it.

Rey,

You are making this sound very easy. It is a very long and very complicated process that only a very few members have done themselves.

The cost is not the issue.

No everyone is as adventurous as you are, so I would caution anyone who was going to do this to really understand what is involved.

Read this thread and download the PDF that Zerocks1 made. It will be a great help to you.

There is a way to get the angel eyes to light up brighter, this is done by increasing the voltage feed. For those of you that have NCS Expert software & are comfortable with coding you edit the nettodata to change the voltage level at the bulb:

http://www.bmwcoding.com/showthread....ighlight=Netto

I have it used this method myself but I thought someone out there might be interested in giving it a go.

You still need to get a newer LED type lamp and the driver for that LED array has a lot to do with it too.

You are correct about the voltage and I've seen that done but frankly, the difference is minimal compared to the brightness of the F series cars that most people want.

Hi,

For the complete conversion plus the blackout, the cost is $700. This also includes bumper/headlight removal as well as the cost of the kit and installation. Turn-around-time if you were to drop off your car/headlights, would be the same day. If you bring it to us in the morning, then it will be available at the end of the business day.

- LS3 v3 LED Kit (Intense White Color)

- Blackout Option (matte black)

- Installation (disassemble/reseal)

- Headlight/Bumper Removal

Best,
Just got a quote from them.

They locate in Yorba Linda. Their works for BMW car are milestone. They are well established as LTBMW I believe or maybe even better.

You can try google BavarianX LS3 or check their 3 series section. Its basically similar to what zerock did. With their mtech v.3. It's even brighter than the new angel eyes. My friend has the older LS3 version with mtech v1 he did 2 years ago. Still as bright as the new BMW, just not as thick as the new one.

I met my friend with the LS3 light (older version) he got it done in June 2011, till now, there is not a single problem with the light. The only thing I'm curious is why everything is more expensive when you drive a 6 LOL. My friend get a quote $350 2years ago to do this and now I'm quoted $700.

P.S:My all broken iPhone 4S camera can't really take good pics.

He has a 5 series. Much easier to get the lights out.
You have a 6, no comparison.
