I don't think this is right. 6W and $230... You better look up iJDMtoy product or other vendor, or eBay, Amazon. If you expect something as bright as the new generation, spending this $230 will well disappoint you. I did one time and in the day all I can see is the two smaller rings (very bright).

First, you need to notice that all of the pictures are indoors. That is not an indicator of how bright it is at all.

Second, if you look closely at all of the pictures you'll notice that the inner ring is much brighter than the outer ring. not the look most people want.

Also, what year is your car? They are different from 2008 and up.

MTEC does make good products but this does sound very expensive.

I would see if you can buy from a company that will take returns or pass on these.

+1 Lastly, is that really picture result from there product or just a random picture they downloaded from Google.

P.S: Trying doesn'tmean success but if you don't try you never know. Even if other people tell you don't, your gut tell you to get it, just get it.

Do I need both of these? If only one set...which one. I just want white light with full rings. Brightness is secondary.

No no no. It's the 2 best options by now. I did try Weisslitch before but turn out not so great. I already ordered iJDMtoy. It will arrive within 3-5 days. Will post photo day/night for you. Why don't you just get the Mtech so we can compare together? I don't mind trying LOL.

I'm going to return the iJDMtoy 20w CRE LED h8 bulb. It's too dim. I think basically the LCI angel eyes structure are different and there is no way can use a H8 white LED bulb. Not bright at all. The Weisslitch was way brighter than this.. I will post picture when I'm free.

So are you happy with the Weisslitch? How does it compare with the newer cars?

Hey ReyTran,

Thanks for the insight from your angle-eye comparisons. Is it possible for you to post a picture of the Weisslitch angle-eye bulb while illuminated? I would love to see it.

I too have gone through several bulbs who claim to be the brightest in the world, but each have minimal difference in comparison. I've spent an average of $200 dollars chasing this brightest bulb.

But I think you're right; in order to have the look that we are chasing, performing surgery with the replacement of the LED halo rings in addition to the blackout of the side-marker would be the way to go. Problem for most would be locating and hiring a credible outfit to perform the procedure without breaking your personal bank.

Im one of the newbie's here and look to others for wisdom on this level but I think it's possible. Most of us have seen Pre-LCI headlights having gone through this successful procedure. But as Roseng has pointed out, it a very tedious process.

Thanks,
Rav

Vehicles manufactured before/prior to 2008. The gurus will come along and elaborate a little more in detail. We both are learning. I've only had my 6 series since 2010 but have yet to master anything about it:-). Wanna here something funny? I learned just last year that there was a hidden cup-holder compartment just behind the center console. I drove it for two years and it never even dawn on me it was even there.
