New 335i

Hello everyone. I purchased a 2011 335i m sport with performance edition this past Friday. I have used this forum a lot for my 2000 540i/6 and now will be checking out the E90 section. New car is black saphire metallic over saddle brown.

Thanks everyone. This car really drives awesome. And yes, I have the certificate of installlation of the performance edition done back in 2011. I am not sure if this was done at the dealership or at the factory. Car was a demo and never previously titled. Takes it to 320 hp/332 torque. Also, that is where the black kidney grilles came from.

Nice. Care to tell us what you paid?

I'm always curious about how good or bad a deal I struck. I picked up a new 2012 335i M-Sport coupe last night that had an MSRP of $56,600, plus it had a BMW performance exhaust, front lip carbon fiber trim, rear carbon fiber spoiler, microfiber trim on steering wheel, carbon fiber mirror trim, all installed at the VPC. Pack sticker said $61.5K and change. I paid $48,500. Did I strike a good deal?

Geez, I just saw one of these at Crevier a few weeks ago...great looking car. It may have been a '13, however. I doubt that they were discounting it a penny as several potential buyers were swooning over it.

Port installed stage 1 ppk with matte kidney grills

Details on the new model are still scarce at this point, but during the July BMWNA Sales Roundtable Broadcast, BMW announced that the 335i Performance will get an additional 20 HP and another 32 lb-ft of torque to add to the standard model's 300 HP and 300 lbs-ft. With this increase, the sprint from 0-60 mph can be made 0.2 seconds faster. Not a huge difference, but apparently enough to make a special edition out of it. Folks using the Beamer as a daily driver need not be impressed.

In addition to the mild power increase, the new model will also be equipped with black kidney grilles (stock ones in the trunk) and a "Performance Edition" badge. Potential customers will need to know that the new package can only be combined with the 335i models carrying the Sport/M-Sport package (must have increased top speed code 840).
