I wish there was one available for our X3 but i'm afraid there isn't much out there. Theres only the TIS' from BMW which they used to be on a site called spaghetti coder but the site got taken down by BMW a few months ago. Pretty lame since I had to go through alot of work to find out how to remove my headlights Ive read on another thread that suggests that the E46 3 series Xi models are pretty close to ours since they have the same motor and stuff as ours, so the service manual that they have seems like the best thing to go by.

I've got the 3 series Bentley manual for my X3. Its good enough, I've done all my fluids, coolant overhaul, transmission, axles, bushings, all using that manual.

I miss spagetti coder. I found a TIS online in russian and was using google translate to translate the page. It translated the steps to runglish. If you look you can probably find a copy of BMW TIS 12/2007 English version floating around the web for download. It covers a lot of the steps.

Did it come from a popular auction type site?

I think the ebay dvd is just the TIS.
