Any recommended mods?

Hey all. I have a question: any particular mods for an 07 335i 4dr sedan? I love my car, and my recent tax return has me wondering what a good solid mod would do. Any recommended mods? Any mods to stay away from? Thanks and appreciate the help.

PS. I like my headlights and rims, so no need to suggest those. I like power, better MPG, or something else. Let me know!

Upgrade your tires for low profile ones or performance tires that could shave 1-3 from 0-60 :P

Your ride's nearly perfect fer cryin' out loud! What mods could you possibly make?

Cosmetic for sure, but that wouldn't affect performance.

Should you bother using Google to investigate? No! Whatever you decide, searching for mods has gotta be a colossal waste o'time. Who in their right mind would mod a BMW?

Should you spend time reading forum posts? No! A pointless activity doomed to put you in contact with clueless modders - they do not know the power of BMW engineering.

Forget about it, Gus. Concentrate on your driving technique - driving school will help you there. Yes! Invest your cash. Recovery Summer might be a touch late, but sure to happen this year!

.

haha thanks for the tips, Cal. I was told to look at the Cobb thing or whatever, but idk. I personally would love it if my 335i ran similar to an M, since I can't afford one, and I love my car now, but it was just on my mind. I do love my bimmer, but the "grass is greener" thing got on my mind...

But yeah, cosmetically I would like an upgrade or two later on. And for that, I don't even know where to begin searching. I looked on BMW's website, but eh, idk.

Well, here. Not for everyone, but it is possible to improve a 3, I suppose.

Cobb? The very word enrages! Try this, and add this. Much more capable, some optimistic dreamers're sayin' it's faster than M.

Looks like you did a good deal of work on the suspension. Nice job! A better handling car would be the ultimate idea for me, but I don't know if I can afford that. Plus I am nowhere near as mechanically inclined as you are haha

Can do in stages, any order except rear M sway before LSD - don't do that.

Your first mod should be Michelin PSS - read all about it.

$1.1k for Wavetrac LSD if I remember correctly - $500 to install. A lump, but more than worth doing.

Another ~$1k for Koni FSD's cures many ills. Designed for stock springs, not in any way as good as linear springs. Yet the improvement is pronounced - if $ is the issue, you'll be happy.

Everything I did had good effect - perhaps the brace could be skipped w/o pain, but nothing else. And you don't need mechanical skills - what's needed is easily acquired - anyone can do these mods.
