Fat guy in a 335i

Hello everyone. A little backstory about myself. I am 25 and just landed a decent paying job. I am going to be buying my first car pretty soon and I have my sights on a 2007 335i. My question lies in that I am 6'0 and 350 lbs. I am a pretty huge mofo. So I am pretty curious as to how roomy the 335i actually is. I know I wont get a concrete answer as everyone holds their weight differently. I was just wondering if there are any fat dudes on here with a 335i that can attest to the driver space. I don't really know much at all about cars nor have I driven a wide selection of them. My point of reference is that I have sat in a dodge charger and it was amazingly comfortable, just right for my size, and I've driven an STI hatchback and my legs were basically bowed and uncomfortable the entire time. Though I am not sure how adjustable those seats were. I just moved it all the way back and got in.

Thanks for any help on the subject.

The side bolsters may be a bit of a bizzle other than that there should be more than enough room to be comfy. But the bolsters are electronically adjustable, just sit in one and see what you think.

I'm a big dude too. taller but not as heavy and I find my E90 to be quite comfortable. And yes I have the sport seats.
Different people have different ideas about what is comfortable. I wasn't sure if the sport seats would be too narrow so I drove both the sport package and the regular. Personally I love the sport seats.

I also drove a Honda Civic for 10 years so I know what it's like to be a big dude in a small car.

You'll only know if it works for you if you "try it on".

Even with electric bolsters, i would not recommend sport seats for you... Regular seats should be fine. I'm your height, a little more than 50 poinds less, and find that with the sport seats and the bolsters all the way out, it can be "tight" in a heavy coat... No issues in warm weather... As others have said, go try out sport and non-sport seats at a dealership... I'm guessing non-sport seats will be your prefernce... Alternately, have you looked at a 5er? Comfort seats ina 5er (20 way adjustable) are the way to fly if you don't "need" sport seats...

I'm 5' 9", 304 and have plenty of room in mine. I tried sport seats and found them uncomfortable.

"Bolstered" seats might not be for you. You may want to stay away from "sport" seats. Heck, I'm 6' 4" , 205 lbs., and couldn't fit into ANY Mercedes "bolstered" seat not too many years ago (when I was shopping for my 335i). Ridiculous "restriction" and lack of accomodation for larger people. They may have fit if I was 5' 9" and 185 lbs. Maybe that was Mecedes "target," who knows.

My current (bare bones) car doesn't have bolstered seats and I'm quite comfortable in them.

I would recommend avoiding sport seats as they are narrow and tight - regular seats would work much better for you!
