Should I have ordered a 335 instead?

k bud, in that case buy the car you want. It's your money and your life. Why the hell does it matter what a bunch of strangers on a forum tell you? Did someone tell you that your next car should be a BMW or was that your call? You're a big boy...make your own decisions.

I drove the 328, picked up a 335, if I can do it all again, i would pick up a 335 each and every time. 328 is sufficient, nice, nimble, but it's not a 335. But that's my opinion and my wallet.

No.

The 335i is too much car for you. You can't handle it. The 320i is awaiting you. Downgrade.

I didnt think i would get such silly replies this fast. I drove the 335 and loved it then drove a 328 and thought it was enough coming from an suv for the last few years. I never plan on taking it to a track or drag racing if i wanted to do that i would of gotten a different car. I want a good handling fun car thats comfortable. Where is the delete thread button?

Why are you second guessing? Can you afford a 335i with the same options you got on the 328i and not feel the extra hit financially? Then sure, reorder a 335.

But chances are that you don't have infinite money and don't want to spend it on things you don't need. The 328 is a great car, so I'm not really sure what you have doubts about.

328i has slightly better handling due to being lighter. 335i has more power and a better sounding/feeling engine. In both cases the difference is marginal.

If you can't drive fast with 245hp then 55hp more certainly isn't going to help.

If you've never owned a BMW with the I6, they you will probably be OK with the 328. Personally I had a 328ix loaner last week and I wouldn't buy one. The 335 will get worse mileage but not by much on the highway. The engine just sounds and performs like a BMW should.

Thank you.

And the reason I went 335i is because I liked the torque. I felt the acceleration in the 335i was more exhilarating.

Thats the kind of response i am looking for thank you. I can afford the 335 but again thought that the 328 would be sufficient for what i want in a car. I asked this question to get input from people who have had their cars and can speak from experience.

Here, check this out.

This shows the difference in sound. It's very noticeable. My favorite parts are the initial drive-by's, and about 2:40, where it shows the 328 followed by the 335 exhausts.

That, and the better acceleration are the reason I went with the 335. But the 328 is still an amazing car.

Thats great but i didnt want a 3 series for the way it sounds. I wanted a luxury sedan that can handle. Appreciate the info.

That time between ordering the car and driving the car is brutal, where you have time to go back to test configuring different builds on the website, read different (usually enthusiast) threads on forums, and try and remember how the car test drove still while driving your own.

You should trust the feeling you had when ordering the car.

The ONLY difference is the 328 is a four cylinder and the 335 is a six cylinder.328 gas saver 335 gas guzzler, 335 good on straightaway 328 great on road with sharp turns. but what you order is very nice and 328 IS at least $8,000 cheaper, but hey that's just how i look at things.
