door locks

Has anyone ever had their drivers door stay locked while the others are unlocked? Had to climb through the passenger side to get in and out. Used the key to actually unlock the drivers door and it worked, but once we tried to hit the button to lock the doors, it locked and the other's remained unlocked. going to let it sit for a bit and see if something resets. not sure what happened. any advice?

Maybe the actuator is broken? Do you hear a motor running on the drivers side door when you unlock?

No I don't think I'm hearing a motor when I unlock. Now I can get it to lock with the button on my key fob, but to unlock it I'm having to use the actual key in the lock. The other 3 doors we manually locked and they won't move no matter what I do. I wonder what that will cost to fix if its the actuator?

Thank you so much for your help. Those forums were really informative. I couldn't believe some of them. It was like reading word for word what was happening with my car. We changed out the fuse for another 15 amp not yet reading about changing to a 20 amp and it the doors worked for a second and then blew again. Now we have a 20 amp fuse in. So far, so good. Hopefully this doesn't mean an actuator going in our future. No warranty on this vehicle as we bought it used. Thanks again!

+1 Had the same problem. Indy shop confirmed that this is a common repair, particularly on driver side which is used most.

Be glad it was only the fuse, otherwise you could Kiss $400 goodbye.
