Question about M5 or M6 wheel style for E60

Hi all,

I am little bored on my original wheels (rims) that came with the vehicle. I think it's style 124 with 7 spokes. it shows the brake dirt so much. About 1 week to 10 days of driving these wheels turn into very much black .
I search around and found the M5 or M6 replica wheel looks very nice on the BMW but I don't know they are fit on my vehicle (E60)
My original 124 style has the offset 45mm, 8" for the front and 55mm, 9" for the rear since those replica wheels have +20mm offset,t 8.5" for the front, +20mm, 9.5" for the rear. Are these wheel fit my car without any modifications? if I can transfer all my tires over as well ( I just put on a set tires 2 months ago).
any recommendations?

thanks

The dirt is from your cars brakes. Yes those replicas will fit but it needs to be the correct size for the tires you have on.

The offset for those wheels are 37mm. How do I find out my current wheels offset? it's BMW style 124 .

offsets

Here you go

BMW wheel rim style 124
5er E60+

All styles 1 3 5 6 7 X Z

Series Model Except Size Use ET Kg
5er E60+ M5, 4x4 8x18 front ET 20 11,23
5er E60+ M5, 4x4 9x18 back ET 32 11,30
5er E60+ 4x4 8x18 front ET 43 11,23
5er E60+ 9x18 back ET 55 11,23

So if your 535 is a rear wheel drive car the offsets are 20 in front 32 in back, if an xi then 43 in front and 55 in back.

Using the wheels your looking at on a rear wheel drive 535 your tire and wheel will sit farther out from the hub by about 1/2" in front and less than a 1/4 in the rear, so you shouldn't notice much difference.

If I use those wheels that I am looking at with the tires installed, will tires touch the arc since it the wheel sit farther out about 1/2" ?
What you guys suggestion should I go with the 19" or stay with the 18" ? I don't want the rough drive , bouncing too much. if The 19" is smooth drive and not too much of bouncing, bumping I may consider for it

RWD E60 stock offsets are: 15 front/ 20 rear. The higher offsets are for AWD models only.

All wheels have a range of offsets that work, depending on how "flush" you want fitment to be. For RWDD models the range is typically 15-22 front, and 20-25 rear. M6 OEM offset is: 18 front and 22 rear

M6 or M6 "style" wheels look badass on the E60. Plus they're fairly easy to clean. Just try to find a replica set that are hubcentric or ones that come with hubcentric rings and make sure the tire shop you use installs them or you will have vibration issues.

Cool bro, whoever you trust. I have found that shops I use regularly, it doesn't hurt to give the guy a $20 if he does a good job, they tend to remember that and take a little extra care the next time.

So when I call to order the wheel set, I need to ask those wheel are hubcentric? or does it come with the hubcentric rings? If they don't have one, can I just buy those ring to install ?
cuz on their website did not mention anything about hubcentric. They do mention this "Hub Bore Size: 72.6 mm"

the only E39 has Hub Bore Size: 71.5 MM
all the rest BMW including your 535i have Hub Bore Size: 72.6 mm

I just bought M6 wheels/tires BMW V-Spoke Style 356 Liquid Black 20" for my 550i
Not much info about these wheels for 550i E60 but i assume i should be fine
with less gaps between tires and fenders ...
we will see ;
