Euro Spec

How can you tell if a 1995 is a Euro Spec?

The vin number will tell you if the car is euro spec or us spec. You can take it to a BMW dealer and they will tell you with the vin number.

Thanks man but the website didn't recognize my VIN. I just took it to a dyno, and it's a Euro Spec with a forced cold air induction system and and aftermarket radiator plus it's chipped pushing 358bhp

Check your motor for ITBs (one for each cylinder) US motors only have one throttle body.

ITB, different motor code (US-spec were S50B30US while Euro-spec were S50B30), and hydraulic lifters on the US-spec. That's all i can recall at the moment.

Thanks. And it is a Euro Spec! I raced last night and waxed 4 Subaru STI's and a Toyota Supra.

^^

Of the engine bay of course.

Just because you waxed a Supra is not a given you have a Euro spec car.
