Mein Auto: 2004 325ci E46
Question Fuel Gage is always reading empty !!!!

My 2004 325ci has been really good to me, however, recently my fuel reading is never on point. I have replaced fuel filter, fuel pump/sender, and left sender unit. I am still getting this bad fuel reading. I read somewhere that the circuit board that is attached to the left sender unit slips out of place and sometimes causes this problem. Has anyone had this problem and actually fixed it in a DIY situation? Please help as the BMW dealerships are not as kind when your vehicle is out of warranty and paid for!

I'm not seeing how that thread helps her out much. But I would try the gauge cluster sweep test if I were her.

Then I'd also add using the OBC hidden functions to pull up the individual sender readings to see what that produced. If you get that far, report back here with each sender reading.
