JB4 or Cobb? Which is better?

Greetings to all,

Which do you think is the better overall performer...JB4 or Cobb?

Any recommendations on intakes?

Your insightful wisdom is appreciated!

Thanks,
J

Welcome to the site.

Please do a search then ask specific questions.

This subject has been beaten to death so there is a wealth of info in past threads about all the tunes & all the individual bolt ons. If something needs clarification a lot of us who use use equipment will be glad to help you out.

Hi Cal, Think I will be waiting till the break-in mileage passes by but will be looking at some 1M underpinnings. Sunny in the 70's this weekend so will just kick back crank up the sound system & roll up some miles. Got almost 300 miles bringing it home from the BMW Spartanburg SC Performance Center yesterday.

The weird ones are big deals with the newer cars so you should be good to go.

Fun thing at PDS, when you say been there, done that, got the Tee Shirt, they actually give you the Tee Shirt. My Grandson really got a major kick out of the school especially when the pro driver took us for some very hot laps in an M3.

I just recieved my Cobb FMIC and Accessport. Cobbs boasts a 35% increase with FMIC and tuned and if using 93octane, possibly a 40%. Ill keep you posted on performance when I install this stuff next week.

Only way to tell is a before & after dyno. The raw numbers are for bragging rights The real important number is the actual delta. Good luck with your mods sounds like it will be fun when done.
