Lightbulb e92 335i vs 328i major differences? + my 335xi car pix

i have a 2009 335i xDrive Coupe, and i was always so curious to know the differences the 335 and the 328 had. I thought it was only the twin turbo, and the dual exhaust. is there any differences in brakes/suspension/ etc?

ill attach some pix of my car too.

The standard wheels are also different for the 328 vs. the 335.

The suspension on the Xi models (AWD) is the non-sport suspension. It is my understanding that it is the same for both the 328Xi and the 335Xi. The suspension for RWD models could be different, depending on how the car is ordered (sport vs. non-sport suspension).

The 335 comes with standard features that are optional on the 328 (e.g. Xenon headlights).

Incidentally, your car looks really nice!

As lqaddict noted, the brakes are different. The 335 has larger rotors, requiring a minimum wheel diameter of 17" (the 328 can use 16" wheels).

Another difference is the oil cooler, although this adds an xDrive versus RWD difference as well. No 328i model comes with an oil cooler. All RWD 335i coupes have the oil cooler and higher maximum speed limiter. RWD 335i sedans have the oil cooler and higher maximum speed limiter if they are ordered with the sport package. The 335i xDrive (coupe or sedan) has the oil cooler only if it was ordered with the optional 18" wheels, which enables the higher speed limiter which then adds the oil cooler.

The AT's are different. One is from GM (328) and the 335 is from ZF. Some have said the AT in the 335 is much better. I don't know if that is true or not, my 335D has yet a different tranny. N4S
