E46 330ci to E90 330d - how can I make the ride more fun

My last car was a E46 330ci M Sport, MV allows, M mirros and bumper, fully loaded. The thing was a piece of art. I loved it. I moved out of the country and so had to sell it. I miss it every day.

Now, I have bought myself an '07 E90 330d SE Coupe. On paper it is quicker, and it does feel reasonably quick. I was expecting more. But what really gets me is the handling, it just feels like what it is, an executive cruiser. Nowhere near as fun as my 330ci M Sport.

Soooo, what can I do to make my car more fun? I was thinking some stiffer shocks and springs would do it. Do I need to think about sway bars or anything like that? Read a lot about Koni FSD's, but surely there's other options - I'm not too fussed about the ride, the 330ci was stiff enough and I was fine with it. Currently have the run-flats, but will get rid of them soon as they wear out.

I am UK based, so European suggestions better, want to be able to source parts for a reasonable price.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions!

IIRC, the SE has many options, but usually not the sport suspension (m-sport).

I suggest new wheels and tires; not sure what you have, but if you have the 16" wheels you need to step up to 17" or 18". I suggest 225/45R17 on 8" wide wheels as the best combination of ride/handling. Or you could go to a 225/40R18 if you want to trade a bit of comfort for handling. A staggered setup is available, but it's pretty aggressive and harsh.

Schmiedmann's in Denmark seems to have a wide range of accessories.

There's a wide range of tuning options available for you to increase hp/torque, if you search for them.
