Question Going Nuts! Ignition Coils

I have an '07 335i and had no ignition coil problems until about 70K miles. Now I am at 103K and I have replaced all coils and plugs at least once, coil 1 replaced twice and now coil 2 replaced a third time. Coil 2 lasted about 1000 miles since last replacement.

Any idea why this is happening so often? Especially coil 2?

Thanks, this is a great forum!

Check the wires on the top brother they could be the culprit and causing the CPs to die or be perceived to be dying. Thankfully its a job even I would feel comfortable tackling after my indy showed me how (not the wires but just replacing the CP's)
