Longest you've stored your M3?

I know some of us M3 owners live in states that get snow and may hibernate their cars until the white stuff melts. I'm in a bit of a different situation, as I'm deployed to SW Asia and my car has been stored since October 9th in my garage.

The only prep I did was spraying the brake rotors with rust preventative and installing a trickle charger on the battery. She's got half a tank of premium that will be ~7 months old when I finally start burning it again, so the first stop will be on base for a full load of 95.

Prior to this, the longest I had stored a car was 4 months. Have any of you had issues waking the car after a long sleep? Just thinking about taking my car out gets my heart pounding...

If you have a battery tender on the battery, you shouldn't have a problem. Just as a reminder for next time, fill the tank up all the way so no condensation builds up inside the tank and mixes with the gas. Run it out till you get to the reserve before filling it up so you can get all that gas out of the system.
