Silly question, are all 4 brakes used when stopping in reverse?

why would you think that all 4 brakes wouldnt be used in Reverse, since the back brakes are only used when the cruse control is on and maintaining speed down a hill I guess I can see the why the question was asked

Because when braking in reverse, some of the forces on the brake pads and calipers are acting in the opposite direction from the usual forward case.

Have a mechanic or dealer inspect the brakes and rotors for wear, and replace as necessary.
