Squeaking brakes

Just had new brakes installed on the 08 Copper S Clubman. Now when applied in reverse we get a squeak. The dealer of course can't make it do it and won't try and fix it. Any ideas my friends...

Depends. Does it occur after parking it for some time and driving it for the first few minutes? If so, many brake pad compositions will make a swishing or grinding noise for the first few stops until the pads warm up and drive off any moisture they've accumulated.

It could also be that the person that installed your brakes did not recoat all of the sliding surfaces on the pads, pins and hardware with brake grease.
