Carbon Fibre front lip

I have a 2009 335 cab I and I'm deciding whether to install the Seibon Fibre Front Lip or just go with BMW's Aero package for the front. I like to know how the front lip looks haven't seen any pictures. I understand it fits underneath the existing spoiler unlike the aero front which fits on top of the lower half of the front. I just don't know if I like the seam on the side with the front aero package.

Also I don't know how much the lip on the carbon fibre it sticks out and how low it goes. I tend to take my car through an automatic car wash near where I live and I don't want the lip damaged.

I don't think the BMW Aero front looks that much different than what I already have. I just like a little black accent on the front since I changed the kidney grill and mesh to black as well which I would get with the carbon fibre lip.

I also purchased the BMW aerodynamics package for the rear which will be installed in a few weeks. So it's just the front I'm wondering about.

If anyone has done either of the two front spoilers (splitter or front aerodynamic package) I'd be interested in your thoughts. Pics of either would be great as well

Thanks

Looks nice...did you buy that with the car or was it an add-on after wards? Is it the aero from BMW or an after-market? I just saw one driving home from work today same colour. Any problems with speed bumps or car washes?

I did not buy it with the car, it was added a few weeks after I got the car. It is the OEM part not aftermarket. It is only about 1/2" lower than the lowest part of the front end but since it is further forward it could be a problem on a steep driveway. I have to be careful when parking as it will not clear a parking stop but it probably would not clear with the stock bumper either. No issues with speed bumps. The car is hand washed by my garage attendants and has never been through a car wash.

If you have an Msport/Mtech front bumper, our CPS front lip looks amazing:

Carbon Fiber CPS Front Lip Spoiler for BMW E92

If you don't have Msport/Mtech, then go with this for sure:

OEM BMW M Aero Front Lip E92/E93 3 Series

Hope that helps!

I don't have the M-tech spoiler, just regular stock. I decided to buy the Seibon carbon front lip from Bimmian.com. I looked at the aero spoiler from BMW does look nice....but didn't like the fact there is a seam on the side so you can see it is added on. With this lip it fits right underneath and keeps the regular stock spoiler as is...........so we will see. Once installed I will post pics
