Never been so tempted to sell my 7 before..

http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/3750917213.html

Its perfect.. yet so so cheap(for a Bentley) for some odd reason I was just searching through CL cities and came across this one in Houston, even though the add says Chicago. After contacting the guy I could trade him my 7 and about 20k for this Bentley. I might be going to take a look at it Saturday..

Be careful it's not a scam. That amount is way to low for a Bentley, plus he said Chicago but its in Houston
.

I know sadly I had the same thing run through my mind.. I called the guy and talked to him and to me it sounds like a drug runner had this car(No! I am not sterio-typing, if you heard him you would understand) Maybe the cops are onto him or something...

I would be careful bro... If you want a super good deal on a super luxury sedan look at the Maserati Quadroporte's. Go on auto trader they are around 35 with pretty low miles 2007's I think.

Stolen? Lemon? Salvage? It doesn't serve him by taking a loss. That looks like a huge red flag to me.

I have seen a few of those around and I just don't find them that good looking, and they constantly break down. I would prefer a four-door but a two door at this price is pretty insane, yet very suspicious. But being our age I don't think a two door Bentley would help with insurance..

From what he has said it is clean and clear in his name. He also has a dealers license. The reason for selling he told me is he purchased a newer one and doesn't need two or want the payments. I probably should do a bit more research on it but I want to go take a look at it.. I also found is suspicious its in many larger cities.. but he didn't even post it in Chicago where it is located..

Scam...be very careful,...I wouldn't even put myself in that situation. Ask seller for the VIN and photos of the VIN plate; also, I would Google search the nearest police precint and have seller show you the car there if you still decide to go through with it. If he's legit, he shouldn't have any problems with these MINOR requests'....also, if he has two, ask for pics of them side by side.

Yeah they have a pretty unique look to them. I guess I'm drawn to it for some reason. Insurance would be fun on those beasts.

He has payments to make, but he's also a dealer? That sounds suspect to me. I guess if you are able to see it in person though and get the VIN checked out, then why not.

I wouldn't even bother taking a look at it. It just sounds too fishy, and like nr123 said he's a dealer but has payments? Yeah ok plus the Nada book value is at 65k on the low end up to over 100k, not to mention the rims this on has.

Could be a scam or maybe he's going through a divorce. I've know a few guys that try to get rid of a lot of their treasured items right before a divorce so they wouldn't have to give it up lol.

Even if it was salvage title, it would be a $50k car at the least. What they want is you to take $10k and then your ass gets robbed. COmplete scam.

Completely irrelevant to this thread but I had to tell you. If I were to buy an F01/F02, I would want it to look almost exactly like yours. I love the white with the M-Sport package and wheels Beautiful car man

And you're smart man, it's clearly a scam. Don't do it. Just be happy with your 7. Plus, those 24's look like sh*t.

Never been so tempted to sell my 7 before..

So does that mean he was trying to sell a car the bank was trying to repo? Someone would have been out of $35,000.

Thats what it looks like.. Not sure why the bank would be trying to reposess if he had "title in hand" The whole thing sounds sketchy.

Way too many red flags all you need is 10k down for about 1k a month, he's a dealer but got the car reposed when you need a title release certificate before you can even sell the car. He is a true hustler.
