Who is New Hampshire's fastest driver?

I stumbled upon this headline while reading Boston.com. The topic seemed a nice reprieve from the manhunt and Marathon coverage. My town was one of those on ordered "lockdown" on Friday.

One New Hampshire motorist was definitely not on "lockdown". Glad to see the offender is not a fellow 'Fester. Dealerships of enthusiast car brands should offer installed radar detection equipment. (BMW Gallery, Norwood MA used to have an in house vendor) This guy wishes he had an escort passport 9500ix.

Glad to see this wasn't you DSX, or you Professor.

Gotta say 106 in a turbo carerra, he probably let off when he saw the cop or was just getting it going.

Negligent operation? Certainly a Carerra turbo can handle 106 no problem. The traffic around him, maybe not so much. (But would that be his negligence or theirs?)

It is interesting to view this from a regional perspective. In many western states, 106 mph is speeding, but it is not wildly faster than some other traffic.

In terms of negligence, he was driving 106 in a car designed for speeds up to about 180 mph. Again, it is a matter of perspective.

Captain, as we have in previous CtoC's, all traffic laws will be respected.

This Monday, though, ///M-rated and I will be repeatedly exceeding 106 mph. Probably in third gear (I usually shift to 4th at 112 indicated). We're doing the BMW-CCA performance driving school at NHIS.

The NJ Chapter's season opener at NJMP Thunderbolt was two weeks ago. I hope you have the same perfect weather we did!

The forecast is for overcast with early temperatures in the low 30's. I'll have the Kumho Ecsta SPT's on so will have to warm them up some before pushing it.
BTW, it's not for nothing that NH allows studded snow tires year round.
///M has tracked at both Thunderbolt and Lightning, those tracks don't look as friendly as NHIS and Lime Rock. I get down to NJ a lot, definitely have to earn a couple more window decals one of these days.
