Headlight eyelids?

Do these make the car look mean or is it just a waste of money?

It's really up to your taste. I've thought of putting them on. Think any add ons just makes your car even more unique.

That's what I was thinking but idk if its just plastic, and I feel like I'd rather just make them instead of paying the 30 -40 bucks they cost

Do the eyelids come painted, or must they be painted to match the body. Are they OE accessories, or aftermarket. Where can you get them, and how do they install. What is their purpose or advantage?

Not enough to notice, it's mostly appearance. Yes you have to paint them. I think Hamann offered them originally.
