What's the best place to get the CCV

I've been looking into replacing my ccv and the hoses, and I find many "CCV Kits" online but I don't think that's the best way to buy them.

I have looked into autohausAZ.com and the sell this valve for about $60 but it's made by Meyle. According to website description they are "the most complete selection of factory-original (OEM/OES) auto parts". blah blah blah...

Should I get this part and hoses directly from the stealer?

IMHO do not mess around to save a few bucks. Buy the whole kit from the dealer. Some dealers give a discount to those who are members of the BMW CCA. Mine gives 20%. This discount has paid for my membership dues many times over.

I would get the kit from the dealer too, but get the part number and shop it around, even using furiousmethod as mentioned above. Most BMW dealers that well parts online will discount anywhere from 20 to 35% off, plus no tax, which more than makes up for shipping. If you are patient, www.bmwmercedesparts.com is inexpensive, and very low shipping charges...only issue is they are slow to ship. Typical delivery time is 14 to 16 days...most can delivery within 7 to 8 days

Reference my thread about the CCV:

Link to OEM CCV kit ($82.32):

To complete the "kit" to include all insulated hoses you would need:
11 61 7 532 629 Vent hose (insulated)
11 61 7 504 536 Return Pipe (insulated)
Stay away from anything Meyle, or anything Chinese made.

Also, get OEM hoses too. The connectors on the aftermarket hoses are not always to spec and will complicate the installation process.

I also used furiousmethod.com and ended up buying all my parts through FCP Euro

I bought 2 different hoses, one factory BMW the other a cheap knockoff.
Both parts look exactly the same. They are the same markings, color, length.

The factory BMW part is the one from the valve cover to the CCV.
It actually flexes where needed to fit correctly. The other is made
from hard plastic and has no flex. The BMW part fits, the other part does not.

Buy the good stuff.
