Finally figured out why my valve cover was still leaking - don't like answer

Ever since I replaced the valve cover gasket, I've seen contined leakage. Not real bad, but a nuisance none the less.
I thought I may have pinched the seal when I replaced it. Today I went in with fresh seals to redo the job.
However I'm now seeing that the gasket itself was not pinched, but the valve cover is broken in one spot. There is a slot into which the gasket gets inserted and one of those side walls is broken over a 1 inch length. F&$% !!

This I hadn't planned for. Now I've got to source a valve cover and do it quick. I'm moving in a week from now.

Looking across the internet a valve cover seems to be a special order item. The dealership was able to provide me with one in 6hrs. Kudos for that.
Price was about 100$ more than the internet, but had I chosen FedEx or UPS next day delivery, it would have narrowed it down to 25$ difference.

Anyways the driver side valve cover is in, everything assembled so far that I could test it and no issues with the engine. (reset VVT before starting obviously)
Now I'll relax for a bit, before I tackle the passenger side.
