Buyers advice needed!

OK I've been looking at 06 525xi and 530xi prices and other than some high mileage units the price point is quite close to the newer models.
Should I be looking for an 08 528xi or 535xi with lower miles and a $2000 increase in price?
Your thoughts are welcome.
Thanks

Honestly, I would look at the newer models if you can swing the extra $2k. I always opt for the absolute lowest mileage I can find and afford. I bought my 08 550 in January with 20k miles on it, I am VERY happy.

Go with the newer model and if you get the 535xi it is turbo charged.

I'm now thinking of an 06 550i vs an 05 545i.
The difference is price is 5k !,
11k for the 05 and 16k for the 06 both with 100k on them.
