335 -Throttle body spacer or dual cone?

after adding the jb+ (it's great, love the extra hp) i have the k&n drop in, with ram air.. how much better is the dual cone and would it be a better use of $$ to leave that alone and do the throttle body spacer?

i put the mass air and tbs on my '10 acura tl sh at the same time.. so i never really got to see a difference in one or the other...

Neither will measurably increase your HP or torque no matter what you read on the internet. You have a twin turbo charged engine. The turbos are capable of pushing far more air than you could use without doing major engine mods. Nothing you do after the turbos can increase the advantage they give you.
Intake mods like you are considering are helpful only for naturally aspirated engines. Of course the sellers of the add-ons will tell you different.

so that being said.. cold thermostat or exhaust (obviously way more expensive) what would you think the next logical step would be? maybe just do a little spring change and stiffen it up a bit.. it's got 80k miles on it.. so i don't know if dumping money in a car i will only keep for a year or so more.. and get a newer 335, possibly a 535 so maybe some parts like the jb+ could be removed and put on the next one..


mods are like drugs.. i wonder if there is a 12 step program for this j/k

TB spacers are probably one of the least understood bolt on performance parts one can buy. Regardless of turbos or not, they really only work with specific types of intake manifolds. In your case, a TB spacer will provide zero - I repeat - zero performance gains.

Save your money

Also, FWIW, I read in a technical book years ago that the ram air intakes on F1 cars give about 2% more HP at 180 mph. At half that speed they're only 25% as effective since the ram air force is exponentially proportional to the speed. So, even if your going 90 mph (way over any speed limit in the US, you're only getting one half of one percent HP gain (you do the math, was it worth the price?)

What you need to do is quite a bit homework on how to modify a 335. There are thousands of pages of info you can be searching. If you read something you don't understand ask about it. Shotgun questions like you are asking now will not get you much in the way of a useful response.
