HI! My X5 when driving into 1 st gear does a slight trans slip and then the car runs fine. It doesnt happen all the time. Is this the beginning of the trans going? Its been doing this off and on for the past 2 years. No lights are on the dash. Just spent 4k on intermediate levers. Seems like this is an ongoing problem that BMW wont own up to. Any thoughts are appreciated before I get hit over the head at the dealer again.

I think I may be experiencing the same thing. Intermittently ad from a stop, 1st gear will draw itself into higher RPM's and then kind of thud into 2nd?
