I have not heard of a message with that wording. Take a pic of the iDrive display with your cell phone next time the error pops up and give us the exact wording.

Do you mean Dynamic Drive?

Check that your battery is fully charged. Make sure your Power Steering fluid is not low, the Dynamic Drive system uses the same fluid system as the Power Steering.

I had that error also a while back and it turned out to be my Steering Angle Sensor. This is located in the steering column.

Was the drive control system and the start off assistance inactive warning that I got. I am trying to locate some CFS11 fluid, but is not sold in the local parts stores here such as advance auto and others. Thanks

Check with any dealer that deals with German cars, I know that Porsche uses the Pentosin. Maybe call VW dealer if you don't have a BMW one near?

The errors basically indicate your DSC is deactivated which is normally a result of a bad sensor.

The most likely cause is steering angle sensor or sometimes low power steering fluid can cause it due to a dynamic drive system error.

You could also have a bad steering sensor control module or a bad wheel speed sensor.

Yogi changed a rear rim 3months ago, with BMW rim, but had no problem until I started playing with the sport setting. I am no coder so how to check sensor control module vs wheel sensor? Car has 38,800 it.

Sounds like the steering angle sensor. You will have to bring the car in to a shop to confirm.
