Agreed. I think the pricing could be better (for what it is). But I will probably get it anyway.

Guys - are you kidding me, $380 for a tune that improves nicely on BMW's stock tune. What other high-end vehicle can you get this type of tested and reliable performance improvement on for this low of a price!? My gasoline costs more per month than this modification does...this is a true bargain from a very reputable vendor. This is the reason he likely won't get to a Stage 2 because we're too cheap. I can't even believe I needed to write this, a vendor that doesn't gouge us and offers a very fair price and we're complaining he should do better Not to mention this mod can be removed and won't have BMW dealers asking about your modification.

$380 is very cheap indeed for a tune... I've spent over $2000 in tuning on a single car lmao (dyno tuning). I think everyone should grab it!

I just got around to installing the BMS tune, took her for a quick test drive and WOW, what a difference! I did not even think the car needed more power, but now I know better.

As soon as I got into the throttle on a little drive around the neighborhood, I had to back off. The throttle response is so much more immediate, the transmission hooking up much quicker. This is my first automatic transmission car, and now it feels like more like response I get with my manuals.

Tomorrow I will be on a longer road trip, so I will see how it is at high speed. Already though, IMO this is the best and easiest mod for your car under $400. Everyone should try this--I would love to see what a Stage 2 would be like!!!????

Hi, I want to put an order in, does anyone have a photo of the TypeA or TypeB TMAP Sensor that they mention on their website, so I know which kit to order? Thanks! I've got a 2010 if that helps too.

Take a picture with your camera and email it to them before you order. They will tell you which connection..

It's a great tune, I love the look on a 'typically' faster cars owner when a 4 door boat blows their doors off

Today my 6-yr old played in 4 hockey games and a soccer game and we covered 125 miles with the BMS Stage 1. We made the same drive to the same tournament yesterday, so today was a good comparison after installing BMS last night.

Far from scientific, but seat of the pants tells me the car starts pulling harder 500 rpm earlier and it feels like a lighter car. At higher RPM its not like all hell breaks loose, but power is relentless and on short merging acceleration runs I easily hit 100 mph (yeah, I drive like this with my little one, don't tell mom).

There really is nothing you can do for under $400 that improves the performance of your car more. If you are spending money to mod your car, this is the first place to start (my car has no other mods, yet). I do get the complaints about the cost, other Stage 1 BMS tunes are only half the cost or less. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of other options for 7 owners. Its still good bang for the buck!

I first heard of this from N54 guys, and they have a Stage 3! They get 100 hp stock (more with simple mods) and more features like selectable maps, in dash gauges, steering wheel controls and even economy modes. I wish we had more Stages for our car (even makes me want to get a N54) .

If its only 500 units we can do it and get a Stage II. When I see 550s, 650s and 750s I will pull them over to discuss Seems like 550 and 650 owners might be better candidates than 7 owners?

Terry said on his own forum he needs about 250 sales to consider a Stage II.

Just ordered it. Going to either borrow a buddy's G-tech for comparison or get one myself. Can't wait!

Just installed it today. I'd say that the car feels more spirited, almost like it's breathing easier (like the difference between a completely clogged air filter and no air filter, haha). Now, just need to get some raw comparison numbers.

Does anyone know if this sort of tune can be traced by BMW in case of warranty disputes. It's physically removable, yes, but can they somehow look it up in the "history" or whatever of the ECU ?

A definite answer to that would be nice.

raj, in your following of this tune on this and other boards, has it ever resulted in a CEL or other error to come up? I've not seen it, but wanted to confirm with your research (basically to see how stable/problematic it may be).
