Will bluetooth phone and audio streaming work at the same time?

So my 2011 E93 doesn't natively support bluetooth audio streaming.

My question: Can I connect a streaming device such as
http://www.amazon.com/iKross-Bluetoo.../dp/B00917OWYI
to my aux input and will my phone (AT&T Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, supports AD2P) be able to connect to it to stream audio at the same time connecting to the built-in vehicle bluetooth phone capability?

I guess what I am really asking here is if anyone has tried this.

I can't speak for that Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, but I have an iphone 5 along with a Griffin Bluetrip audio plugin Bluetooth device. I have a 2006 E60 with CIC.
The phone streams music seamlessly through the device which sends it to the speakers via the aux input all while still connected to the CIC for incoming calls. In this instance when I get a phone call it switches over to the cars' CIC (as if the Bluetrip wasn't there).

In other words the phone is connected to both, and switches accordingly instead of using the Bluetrip for phone calls which would reduce call quality drastically.
I think it's the phones responsibility to be able to support both protocols and transfer accordingly.

Thumbs up

Yes, the car's bluetooth is connected simultaneously & the iPhone switches automatically when there is a call. I have a 2008 335i convertible (no idrive), and I use my iPhone 4s for the music & GPS.

I use a homespot bluetooth receiver This tiny box uses the bmw's aux/ usb ports & is tucked away in the center console

The iPhone is mounted on the dash with a Niteize steelie car mount.

This allows me to see & control music & GPS apps directly on the phone. The receiver uses a higher bitrate connection, so the sound quality is great with high bitrate streams/ songs (320kbps).

Does this unit have a battery, or does the USB have to be plugged in all the time?
