2007 navigation update

my 328i has a dvd based navigation which is of the year 2007 - is it worth it to upgrade to a newer year?
what all extra features would i be looking at from the updated DVD?
is there any way to burn a DVD with the update from some website?
thanks

The "upgrade" you talk about is just a new DVD with newer maps. No other changes are made to the system. I live in an area in Arizona that did not have many local streets on the 2007 disk, so I went the torrent route for a 2011 copy.
