PS Bottle Cap HELP!

I have a 2007 E92 328xi... I bought the car used and I think at some point it was in a front end collision. Long story short, the power steering bottle was always "dirty" when I detailed my car. I recently learned that my cap didn't have a rubber gasket. So I looked up the part number on and ordered myself part number 2411128333 (BMW OEM 32411128333 Pump & Hoses-Steering-Cap Gasket).

When I tried to put the gasket on the cap, it doesn't fit. Now when I look at the cap, it seems like it doesn't fit/look 100% right. So now I wonder if I have the wrong cap, which is why the proper gasket doesn't fit... or if I have a completely different bottle.

Can anyone take some hi-res pics of their cap both open and closed for me to compare against mine?

I'm leaning towards just ordering a new cap+gasket but now I'm wondering if that won't work either if the bottle is non-oem!

Thank you!
