keeping the 335i

decided to keep the 335i after alot of thinking and bickering with my parents they are ok with me keeping my 335i on the grounds of fuel efficiency (19/29 vs 17/27 but they dont know that) on my way to Georgetown University everyday...and for weekend trips to the beach or anywhere else the 335i can make it happen..i guess it can be the work horse

You have a 2010 335 and got something new? Wait...you got an S6? IIRC the S6 has a turbo'd V8 at like 420HP....and is like $70+k.

A very happy birthday to you, sir. Shoulda got an M3

Right. Anyone who can get their parents to buy them two cars, one of which is luxury, should have gone for an M3. More like the OP is a chump.

It won't be a true thread crap until ///M-RatedE90 shows up, but your crappiness will suffice for now

Review the OP's post history. Avoid posting like that and you'll probably be OK. Probably, no guarantees.

"Not in McLean, Potomac, Bethesda, Chevy Chase This area is the furthest thing from the real world".

I live in Vienna.....so i know just how isolated this area is from the real world. I'll chime in by saying that when i got my car at age 21 (22 now) my parents did not pay for it, i fuel, repair and insure it on my own dime. My parents could have easily bought it for me, or even a brand new S6/M3 but they want me to live in the real world and earn my privilages whether that be driving an 8 yr old BMW or HD tv. There is no way that a 2013 S6 and a 2010 335i is anywhere near real world even in our area. OP will get a serious shock when mommy and daddy arnt around to dig into their wallets.

Ditto. I saved from when I got a job at 15 until I got a full license on my 16th birthday to buy my first car, a 2001 Saab 9-3. Now, at 24 and after a few leases, I just purchased my 09 328.

I respect that and give you props I'm trying to do the same thing with my next car and make it myself in the stock market before I graduate. As for the serious shock that would be assuming no trust fund, life insurance, exc. exc. and go directly to 0. Not many people I know driving even 40k+ cars around here would fall into such a category.

I admit as best as I recall most of your posts seem to belie your age. Most. I read your little exchange with powerhouse the other day.

Agree with TERP 100%

Adam you jelly?

You assume they will just disappear one day out of nowhere....theres something called trust funds and inheritance that take care of those things...not just liquid inheritance asset and cash flow inheritance that helps out alot...i was going to pull this card but i just wanted to inform you
wishing or wanting someone to fail is not going to make you any more successful

also, there is no direct correlation between having a nice car and being a spoiled person...you can be humble and a well rounded person in a beautiful car that was handed down to you...
I am a great student with a 4.72 gpa that is going to Georgetown in the fall..i play dc academy ball and have played USMNT ball since u-14 i dont just fap around all day knowing that i will be more than well off by not doing anything...like some of my peers

congratulations all jokes and sarcasm aside.
I truly respect that I wish I could say the same but on the same token working would have taken alot of time away from me and i probably wouldnt have managed to accomplish the things i have in school and on the field.

Man, I drove a 1977 Chevy Blazer when I was 18. And that was in 1990. Loved the vehicle, actually. Do prefer my 335i convertible though.
