I only really need the sub, but if you want to sell it with the box that could work also

I have both after replacing with a Kicker CompVT65, which is definently the route ide suggest, but if you are set on the oem sub we could probably work something out. But may i ask, why the oem?

Which impedance rating??? 1 or 2 ohm. I believe kicker discontinued the 4 ohm, which was recommended in another thread. Thanks!

Their website does not show that the 4-ohm has been discontinued. That's the one you want.

You should be able to find them anywhere.

The online sites where I've found the 4 ohm either say out of stock or discontinued. The Kicker website won't let me add either the 2 ohm or the 4 ohm to my basket. Could be my laptop. Here the ones at Cructhfield, either 1 ohm or 2.

Looks like the Kicker 40CWRT672 can be wired in 2 ohm or 4. Its a dual voice coil.....will this work????

This may work. Looks like the mounting depth is just under the depth for the CVT series (info says 2 3/4", CVT is 2 7/8"). Mounting hole diameter is the same at 5 9/16". The only area where I can see there might be problems is the 6 3/4" diameter instead of the 6 1/2".

The 6 1/2" CVT requires grinding away a portion of the rim so that it will fit the stock enclosure without compromising the integrity of the enclosure. If the overall diameter is larger than the CVT, or if the rim of the speaker is narrower in order to make a 6 3/4" cone, it might be difficult to grind away enough material to make it fit the enclosure.

The 2-ohm dual voice coil model will give you good flexibility. Some amps will drive a 2-ohm load if they're not bridged, and most bridged amps need a 4-ohm load. And yes, you can wire the coils in series to get a 4-ohm impedance for a single-channel amp or you can drive them independently with a two-channel amp that will accept a 2-ohm load.
