Anyone else thinkg the seat pocket/cargo net...

The storage behind the each front seat is lame, imo. anyone notice how tight the cargo netting that is the rear seat pocket? couldn't even fit my ipad to store. maybe a thin magazine would fit but not much else.

In any car I've owned, I've never used those nets/pockets. It doesn't take long before the it gets stretched out and saggy

Had a Rav4 for 3 years with 2 books in one toys in the other and repeatedly stuffed random kid drawings and neither one stretched on me. I was quite surprised they didn't.

I agree, I try to stuff my luggage in the back of the seat and the netting was too tight

I bought this for my X3.
I've got the Sport seats in Nevada Leather and the little mesh thing is as useless as an ashtray on a motorbike.

Whilst this is generally for my daughter's use, it doesn't interfere with the knee room of 'longer' back seat occupants.
Also comes off and turns into a handy suitcase for all the travel bits and pieces.

It can only hold a single magazine and maybe a few brochures. Our previous vehicle was a Mercedes and it was much deeper and wider, but the kids left so much clutter including library books that was misplaced.

Benefits to both, but having the smaller pocket is great in a pinch, at least there is less stuff the kids can leave behind to clean.

I use em all the time, I keep magnetic flow charts and other laminated papers in there for work and it works perfectly for that.
