Who wouldn't want a 335is thread?

My 335is was delivered about two months ago. DCT, Premium Sound, Premium Package, Space Gray on Saddle Brown - I'm surprised I don't see very many folks go for Saddle Brown, I think it's a great classic sports car look without being too flashy.

Out of principle I should have gone with the manual (Save the Manuals!) but the DCT is such a great balance of both worlds. Plus, after 7 years of driving a manual, it gets a little tedious. If it wasn't a daily driver, I guess I would've gone with the manual.

My previous car was a Mazdaspeed 3, which is a pretty great little car, but it's amazing what rear wheel drive and torque can do! Plus, the balance between sport and luxury sure makes for much more pleasant road trips.

Engine is broken-in and I did a launch control start for the first time earlier this week - WHOA, BABY!! I won't do that very often to be nice to the drivetrain, but what a thrill!

Congrats! I think the Saddle Brown is pure class. If I were 10 years younger (pushing 40), I may have gone red.

I picked up an Alpine White Saddle Brown 4-5 weeks ago. Loving the exhaust, seats, steering wheel, torque, balance, etc. etc. etc...

Red was just a bit too flashy for me too.

Oh yeah, and the exhaust is amazing. I find myself with the radio off, sunroof and windows cracked (or down) more often than not just to hears those burps and braps.

I did not know red was just for young flashy kids, Better go turn mine in quick before someone sees it.

I agree 100%. I've had mine for a month. It's a much more satisfying driving experience compared to my '11 335 E90. I should've passed on the prem sound pkg though. I keep turning it off, rolling down the windows, putting it in sport/sport, and letting it rip! It sounds fantastic.

The reason why you wont see many going for this car is the price tag, unless you leasing. Most people will probably wait around till some off leases come in.

I always drive mine in M mode then turn Sport on after the car reaches normal orperating temps. I drive it just like my previous MT cars. Down shifting etc

Oh, I meant the saddle brown. I think it's a great looking color for the interior.

I understand why there aren't that many 335is out there because of price somewhat, but mostly because it fits a specific niche - don't want M3 price and fuel economy, but still want something with a little more oomph and sport than a regular 335.

I won't even consider an 335is because I want (or should say need) Xdrive. There are a few driveways that FWD cars with snow tires wont' make up most of the winter.

Mein Auto: 2013 335is Convertible
I will be 50 this year in August and I not only got Red Leather but also convertible top. Must be a mid life crisis thing! I love my car and took delivery at PDC on 5/8/2013. My last car was a Infiniti G37 Convertible and looked at the IPL, but decided on the 335is Convertible. Ordered it exactly as I wanted. Only left off the fancy cruise control and the Apps (Dont have and never will have iPhone) I love the DCT as you can feel the clutch letting out, but you aren't doing it. How crazy is that.

The main reason other than price for me is the need for a sedan (I have a 2 year old son). Also, good choice on the saddle brown interior. My Blue Water sedan has that interior and it is for certain a classic look.

I love the IS, but I didnt want to spend the money right now. I may upgrade to one later though, in a year or two. On the interior........Im not sold on the saddle, its beutiful but I dont think I would like it long term. I find that, at least in my area, saddle, beige, and red do not sell on the pre-owned market regardless of exterior color. Ive noticed ones with that interior are usually priced significantly lower that other colors and sitting in inventory alot longer.

Saddle on Grey rocks. Congrats.
