Best brake pads and rotors for 650i?

I have a 2006 650i, been looking around online, and it's time to replace the rotors and brake pads. The only thing is, I am looking for good stopping power, and looked around online but I cannot find much information on this subject. Anyone have any recommendations on rotors and brake pads?

OEM rotors are the best quality by far. They are a 2 piece semi-floating design with an aluminum hub connected to the steel rotor with pins which allows the rotor to expand without warping the hub, which is what happens on a single piece rotor.

StopTech Street Performance pads are the best I've found to replace OEM. Very similar cold stopping power, better hot stopping power, way less dust and the StopTechs have a much higher max operating temperature than OEM.

If you want drilled rotors for looks StopTech makes the best quality drilled rotors. These are available for about $80 each at TireRack.

TireRack does not list the rear StopTech pads but they are available. I got mine from ZeckhausenRacing for ~ $100 per axle.

Definitely going with those pads on the next brake service.

I did the drilled rotors and pads from stop tech... Looks and performs very well...
Followed Yorgis recommendations. Just make sure the rotors are centric...
Additionally with the caliper covers I have very little brake dust to...

Can you take a pic of how it looks, how much did you pay for the rotors and pads altogether?

You can get them from TireRack.com for ~ $80 per rotor and $90 x 2 for the brake pads.

Here are a couple of pictures of mine. Got the rotors from Tire Rack and pads from Amazon.com (all Stop Tech) and the caliper covers from CariD.com
