Adding Driver Assistance Package to my X3

We have now owned our 2013 X3 for almost 1 year and we absolutely LOVE IT! What would I do if I had to order it all over again? I would have got the 1 or 2 packages that I didn't get for no obvious reason.

Question for you experts out there. Is there any way for me to add any of the following to my car?

- Driver Assistance Package OR Technology Package

The former includes:
- Park Distance Control
- Rear-View Camera
- Rear-View Camera with Top View

Latter is primarily for NAV (which I don't care that much for)

Anything can be added for a price, it depends on if you want to spend the money. Of course, it would probably be cheaper for you to trade in your car with those options than to add them to your current car.

These guys are going to have the rear view camera soon http://bimmerretrofit.com/store/inde...ry&path=78_134

These guys can do it including surround view http://www.bimmer-tech.net/shop/bmw-...sist-retrofits

Straight backup camera is the cheapest and easiest, the surround view requires a camera in each side mirror and wiring which is a big expense, Park Distance requires drilling and mounting the 4 sensors and having them painted to match the bumper (or replace entire bumper with one with sensor holes already). They basically all require NAV though and it sounds like you don't have and is crazy money to retrofit and needs the whole dash replaced.

As stated above - you are looking at many thousands, may be cheaper to trade it for a car with what you want on it.

It will be cheaper to trade in your X3. The X3 has excellent resale value.
