M6 Bumper Do or Don't

I'm thinking on pulling the trigger on doing the m6 bumper front and back using OEM parts. So my questions are is it really worth it? What should I be aware of? Would my headlight and FOG fit perfectly? Do I need new upper and lower grilles? Or I can use my old one? Must importantly do I need to do the 4 pipe exhaust like on the M? Thanks or I'm panning on doing the install my self and DIY is welcome.

First, the M6 does not have fog lights, so the common solution is to tie up the fogs behind the bumper. I am not sure if the lower grills would fit so don't have an answer there.

For the rear the lights in bumper itself are in a different spot and the exhaust holes don't match up to the 6. For the lights you will have to do some modification to the carrier that holds the lights because of the change in position. Your body shop should be able to handle that (if you are using a shop?).

I would think the location of the 6 tips would be OK with the M6 bumper, but since it is designed for quad tips I think you will be disappointed with the look if you don't get the quad tips.

I wouldn't bother myself - a lot of hassle for not a lot if gain - i actually prefer the stock look as the rear lights sit too high in the m6 bumper in my opinion, would spend the cash on a good performance exhaust with different tips if you want the car to look different

If you do some finding, you can pick up an M6 OEM used bumpers and some dual megnaflow exhaust which should run you about $1800/with paint/installed

Lower grills are different and no fogs. The rear carrier is different. The front bumper is easy to remove/install, but you will need the air dams.
