Opinions on my E46 ZHP Wheels

Hi All

Finally got some snaps of my new to me E46 style 135 ZHP wheels mounted on my E90 330i. The offset was different to stock E90 wheels so they had to be spaced out a little but the net difference is +2mm in the front and +7mm in the back so not to much but makes a bit of noticable difference in the back. Also got a set of brand new Michelin PSS so im a happy bunny coming from my Winter set up on my stock style 167s. Also changed to drilled/slotted rotors...seem great so far. Now i just have to install my BMW performance shock kit and ill be done with my summer mods.

What do you guys think.

Same everything as the originals except for the offset ofcourse. Bought them used and did some light restoration to them but they are in pretty good condition for their age.

Looks great.

Did you end up getting the staggered set up like the OEM ZHP wheels are? What size spacers front and back did you end up using?

I am asking because I'm planning on putting the ZHP wheels I kept from my old car on my 335xi....

Yes i got staggered set up. 15mm front and 20mm rear. However the offset is -13 in comparison to E90 OEM wheels so the net gain is 2mm front and 7mm rear. You can probably go 5mm more front and back with no issues but i think mine looks fairly flush and a little more aggresive without looking like a civic ricer

That's crazy, the wheels that are on your car in your signature are my favorite wheels on an e90 - I love them. The ZHP wheels from the e46 are my second favorite BMW wheels. This is the first time I've seen them on an e90, I think they look good!

Personally I think 195 and 196's are the nicest wheels on an E90, at least the non-'crazy sports look' theme that they're going for. 284's are very nice too, and the 285's are excellent (though very similar to 196). IMO anyway.

I do like the 162's but i needed a seperate set for winter/summer tires. I decided to put the 135's i got as sumemrs and keep my blizzaks on my 162's. Wont be sooo bad when ahving to switch over to winter tires next time around. I have never seen another E90 with 135's so it makes me feel a bit special and unique now. Im just pleased i got the offset calculations right.
