My New Ride

Well as many of you know, my 2012 750 Li met its demise a couple of weeks ago when my son totaled it. On a brighter side, here is my new ride. Mods so far are 12mm rear spacers, 3m tape on front reflectors (thanks f01driver ) , JB N63 Stage 1 Tuner (thanks M4XBMW7 ). I ordered the H&R lowering springs with adjusting rods and should have it installed by the first of August ( thanks haastx10 ). 20% Window Tint. xDrive emblem removed so far and I am still up in the air about taking off the 750. Sorry if the pic's are too large, I will work on that in the future.

2013 750Lxi, Cold Weather Package, Driver Assistance, Executive Package, Lighting Package LED, M Sport, Sport Package, Active Front Seats & Burled Walnut Trim with Inlay.

Can't forget the wood shelf..

You've got the wooden shelf , so the car's legit.

Nice car and looks nicely equipped.

Yes the woodshelf does confirm this is an OEM car. 7's without the rear woodshelf have been conclusively found by exhaustive internet research to be cheap Chinese knock off's and not a real BMW. Beware any 7 buyers in the future!!!!! You can quote me on it!

Congrats on your new ride. It's beautiful!

I am glad that you are lowering it. Looking at the pictures it really needs it, just like all US 7 series X-drives...

Ah, good to see a Big Black with the new LEDs. Is the 20% tint ceramic or metallic? I like the UV cutting ability of my ceramic but I feel like it has kind of a strange bluish color to it that my metallic didn't have.

f01driver turned me on to it. They make a black sapphire that matches the car. I was talking to the body shop manager the other day and mentioned what I was wanting to do and he pulled some out of his desk drawer. Said he had some left over after striping someone's car. He put in on the reflector that was on the wrecked bumper of my old car and it looked great. So he put it on my new car in exchange for a 12 pack of beer.

The dealer had it done for me. I do not notice any bluish color so I guess it's metallic.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and those of you that have been helping me thru PM's, txt and phone. Most appreciated, there are a lot of good people around here.

Beautiful color, although I'm kind of biased! It's about time we Black Sapphires give some needed competition to all of the Alpine Whites on this forum.
