Run Flat Tires on 335is

Has anyone replaced the run flat tires on a 335is, and if so what did they replace them with and what if any difference did it make.

Thanks.

The OEM for my 2012 are front 225/35/19 and rear 255/30/19. There are only 2 RFT available in my rear size. One is about $370 and the other about $460. Also, the wear rating is miserable; 140 on one of them and 220 for the other. Many people are buying a spare and switching to regular tires. Make sure the spare will fit all 4 tires. Also, you can drive about 50 mi. max on the RFT and then it is dead in most cases.

A lot of people have replaced the run flats (ie Pilot Sport PS2 ZP, etc.) with Pilot Super Sports. The Super Sports are not run flats although offer a little better grip, a little better breaking capability and longer life. Also, the ride of the PSS is not as firm as the PS2 RF. You can always buy an emergency tire kit as well.
